Great product, especially if you lose power!
This is a wonderful light that I keep in various rooms of my house in case the power goes out. It allows you to walk around with your hands free and gives off plenty of light. It’s also great when I’m cleaning my pellet stove because the stove is low with poor lighting around it. This is a really useful product and also makes a unique and useful gift!

Nice headlamp, one flaw
Nice bright headlamp with a sturdy band. One flaw though: the beam points at an upward angle in its stock setting.

Fits my husbands huge nog
My husbands head is huge and it fits him comfortably. I on the other hand have a small head. And it also fits me. It’s like the sisterhood of the traveling headlight. Quality is good and it’s bright enough to blind you for seconds.

I purchased these head lamps more than once. In a previous review, I mentioned how much fun my grandchildren had running around the campground…safely!

Great Value
I bought this to replace an old Princeton Tec headlamp. So far it works great and at a low price. The red lights are a little dim but I don’t plan on using this feature much. The white lights are real bright and we will see how the battery life is.

Seem fine for the money. Good value
Worked fine out to the box. You will need to read the directions and the email they send you about changing colors. Battery lid not as tight as I might like but overall good.

In a Four Headlamp Shootout, Foxelli is great quality and the best value
I recently compared four LED headlamps across a range of prices, all rated very highly on Amazon. I’m using these for work around the house in dark places, so red or green lights, flashing options, etc are not particularly important to me. Mostly I’m just looking for a nice clean bright white light while running wires, or working in the ceiling, or even plugging things in behind a computer that you don’t want to move.Headlamp 1, the “Shining Buddy” LED Headlamp, was $12.97, and had 4.8 stars from 2509 reviews. Physical quality seemed fine, but from the moment I turned it on, the “Shining Buddy” had a relatively dim LED, even on the highest settings, and it had a very blue tint (a very cool LED color). It was dim enough that I found it wanting for most tasks and the color made it unpleasant to use. I didn’t use it for long.Headlamp 2, the Foxelli Headlamp at the same price ($12.97) also had good reviews – 4.7 stars from 1082 reviews. In contrast, the Foxelli was a rockstar!. It had a much brighter and had a very clean, white light. It compared favorably to the two other lamps I reviewed which were 2x and 3x the price. It has dimmable lights, flashing lights, and red color as most do. The only nitpick is that one must cycle through all settings to turn off. The last setting, before turning off, is a VERY bright flashing setting. Wow. Mezmerizing! But annoying to have to cycle through each time. This would be my choice for a go-to work light in the future. Great price, clear white light, nice quality.Headlamp 3, the Black Diamond Spot Headlamp, was $25.99, and 4.6 stars from 352 reviews. It’s an excellent performer and seems to be very high quality. It’s a bight brighter than the Foxelli, and has a somwhat more uniform light. It also has a moderately bright but very wide uniform light setting. This is a really nice feature that I didn’t have on an old Black Diamond light and I like it. Although I mostly use the bright spot setting, I could see it being useful in a close up place, or for finding things in the dark as it really illuminates gently but all around. It seems to have a nice closure mechanism (a bit nicer than the Foxelli) which seems durable. The Tap-For-Extra-Bright option is really cool too. There are more settings (red, flashing, etc) and the method for getting to them is a bit complicated, but it means that you can (more or less) get tot the setting you want and keep it there without a lot of cycling through unwanted settings. Great lamp, and definitely nicer than the Foxelli, but for work the Foxelli is good enough and half the price, so buy two and still have one when you can’t find the other. If you’re camping, or hiking, the Black Diamond Spot might be more up your alley and it is still a good bargain.Headlamp 4 was the Black Diamond Storm Headlamp, at $31.93, with 4.5 stars from 186 reviews. This is really a premium headlamp. Fit and finish was similar to the BD Spot, but with a much better cam lock closure and superior gasket sealing for the battery compartment. This lamp is even brighter than the bright BD Storm, which was even brighter than the Foxelli. And then you could use Power Tap and it was really really bright. It also has the wide angle, gentle uniform light setting which I liked so much on the BD Spot. Add green to the red and flashing options, and you get a very complicated control system (all from one button) but with a nice guide and quick reference card to rescue you. This is really the nicest headlamp of the four, but only a bit nicer than the BD Spot at a bit of a premium. This light uses 4 batteries, which is nice because what do you always do with that other one from your charger anyway? All in all, three of these lights were awesome. All come with batteries, but I use Eneloop rechargables in my headlamps because they go through batteries pretty quickly when you have them on bright all of the time. I’d buy the Foxelli again in a heartbeat. For my purposes, the BD Spot is also a great light, with the higher quality and wide angle setting worth the extra. It turns out that I didn’t really need the extra features of the BD Storm. A camper or hiker might find them invaluable though!

Bright and easy to use
I ordered the 2-pack bundle, but they came separately a week apart. On the first one, you have to cycle through all the white and red lights to turn them off, and on the second one, you can choose to cycle through either the white or red lights by holding down the button for a second. I prefer the second option, but I don’t see any choice in the description, so who knows which version you will get when ordering. I’m guessing the second one is a newer version. Either version is better than another brand model which had 2 buttons and actually took longer to find the light I wanted than using one button to cycle through all the lights on this set. I also like the contrasting color of the latch to open the battery compartment; it is easy to see and open. The band is sturdy and adjustable.I’ve replaced all the standard flashlights I keep in every room with these light-weight, hands-free head lamps. They are great for power outages, sorting out all those cords under the desk, and trekking out to my mailbox after dark. They have lasted years, but not forever, so when my older headlamps bite the dust (or I have more rooms), I will definitely be back for a couple more of these lights.

Lightweight, practical, useful
I bought three of these for Christmas gifts for men who are hard to shop for. I did try each one out and they seem to be working fine. The light seems bright enough, lightweight, and comfortable, so hopefully they will help them with making repairs on things when extra light is needed. I cannot comment of night vision nor battery life. I would buy these again.

Works well, stays on head fine
No issues yet, but haven’t had it long enough to know if it goes through batteries. I bought it to see the quick on my dog’s black nails better! Anyone with a pet with black nails knows this nightmare. It is bright enough to help with this, so I’m happy with it. I’m sure it’s good for more normal uses as well. 😂 Headband works fine.

Head Light
I ordered this flashlight I wear on my head. I do the Diamond Art and was needing a light that I didn’t need to hold that would give me the needed lighting to do my hobby. It was a great headlight for maybe camping in a tent where bright lighting wasn’t needed. But I need bright bright lights. Great buy for a camper just not a good buy for artwork!!!

Bright light that tilts down
This is a nice headlamp with three levels of brightness. I have a lot of trouble with my vision if there is not enough light. I love that it tilts down, rather than just straight forward, so I can use it to read, use nail polish, etc. My only complaint is that the part that fits against my forehead is uncomfortable. I used a little piece of foam wrapped in thin material to improve that.

Good but the color is off
I am super excited to use this product for an upcoming trip. The instructors are the clearest but it’s easy enough to figure out with one button. My one issues is that the color seems different than the pictures. Is more of a blue color than a teal which is a little disappointing but that’s fine.

Good light but not super comfy
I removed a star only because it is very uncomfortable how it sits on my forehead. I have a smaller head and maybe that’s why? It’s noticeable but not enough to not use it.

Bright with 3 setting
My husband loves these. He bought them to use while he grills at night. The lights that attached to the grill never quite did the job. This lights up everything exactly where he is looking. 3 different settings. Great of your walking your pet at night. My daughter wears this at night when walking the dog. People/cars see her and she lights with way for Bella! Uses 3 triple AAA batteries.

Nice and bright at a minimal cost when compared to other brands
I ordered 2 of these one for me when I work in poorly lit areas. And my wife uses it for evening and early morning runs. So far we can’t tell the difference between these and pricier versions of the same thing.

This is way better than running in the dark!
The brightness is what I expected, which is: not overwhelmingly bright, but bright enough to see much better. It’s very easy to adjust the angle, so that’s great.Without this product, when I ran in the dark, I hit some unevenness in the road and twisted my ankle a little, which is bad. And when I ran with this, I had no such problem. Someday I will probably trip over something while I am wearing it, but this also happens in the daylight, so I can’t blame this. If I were to have two of them, then I could make a red light in the back and a white beam in the front to see where I am going. Always be very careful of cars, fast motorcycles, bicyclists, and cars without their lights on, and never go into a lane without checking carefully for quiet but deadly hazards – this is what I am trying to remember.

Good to keep your hands free when your walking your dogs.
I bought this item to use when I’m walking my dogs at night. It helps for safety as cars can see us and I can see the road/sidewalk to avoid tripping and falling. Also, we have Bufo toads that come out at night in the warm months and they are poisonous to animals. So I have to watch out for them so that my dogs won’t attempt to sniff or touch them.

Good Value
I’ve always wanted (needed) a headband mounted light for when I’m working around the house and need both hands free to do work. I can also see the value of such a light when I’m working on my car, etc. This particular light comes in a very small box with an instruction sheet. Basically, there is one main light on the front of the unit which you press once to get a low level light, a 2nd time for a brigher light, a 3rd time for maximum light, and a 4th time to have the main light strobe. If you hold down the button for a few seconds it will turn on the two red LED bulbs on either side of the main white light. After using it for about 15 mins it seems to meet my needs. it’s made out of plastic so it’s not super sturdy, so you’ll need to keep it in a reasonably safe place (not throw it in your tool box with your other tools). For the price, I think it is a good value. Definitely better than trying to hold a flashlight in your mouth while working with both hands.

Great value. Quality seems good
when I bought this particular unit I was concerned that it would not be bright enough for my uses around the house and out in the yard. I was pleasantly surprised. I’ve used it to light up my hobby workspace to put some bright direct light on my project. I’ve used it outside when using the grill at night to see the burgers and steaks that I’m cooking out there as the porch light is not nearly bright enough.

Great little light
The only reason I’m giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it could use just a tiny bit of padding. It’s hard plastic digging into your forehead and it kind of gets sore after a while. I just used a piece of scrap cotton batting and problem solved. I use this for detailed stitching and crafting and it’s super helpful. VERY bright Eben on the lowest setting, but goes through batteries a little fast. Very pleased overall.
